Stone Country Cottage

Very private, quaint stone cottage in the Townland of Coomkeen, on the Sheep's Head Peninsula (the Wild Atlantic Way), Ireland's best hiking country. Two Miles to village of Durrus, five miles from town of Bantry. Cottage was originally built in 1845 by my great uncle. ceilings in kitchen are low, in order for fireplace to keep warm. There are odd heights in doors typical for the era., PLEASE BE ADVISED PERHAPS A CHALLENGE FOR VERY TALL VISITORS. Or you can take a walk back in time and enjoy.

The Old Church Hall, Ballydehob.

A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

There is a choice of small beaches a stones throw away and spectacular views of the ever changing Atlantic ocean from Baltimore’s famous Beacon only a short walk away. There is a back yard . There is a good internet service within the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to self cater. It is a five minute walk to the main street, sea walk and public transport services.
