Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece. Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of several projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece. Other things to note This experience is for adults and children over the age of 14. If you have sensitivities to smoke and heat this may not be the experience for you.

We will be exploring the world via street food in the one of the world’s most diverse areas just 15-20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. We will be eating a lot. ALL food we order on the tour is included in the price! In this neighborhood of Queens, carts and trucks come out with some of the most delicious food to be had in NYC. Many places we visit are hole in the wall, hidden gems that aren't easily noticed if you were to walk through the neighborhood on your own. These are places that we frequent and where we eat often and want to share them with you! We'll also share more information about the neighborhood, vendors and cuisines so you can learn more along with getting a great meal. Often, the vendors will change by day, so each tour may be unique. Our journey may take you from Tibet to Mexico and more in between. You will have the opportunity to learn more about New York City from a native's perspective. Itineraries can be tweaked for dietary restrictions. Come with an open mind, comfortable shoes, empty stomach and we'll take care of the rest! Other things to note: We will be walking about two miles outdoors with minimal seating or tables.

Hug A Highland allows guests to visit our family owned and operated farm to brush, love, feed, and take nonprofessional pictures with our Scottish Highlands and miniature donkeys! It is a perfect way to get up close and personal with friendly farm animals. If wanted, guests can also take a look around our farm to learn more about beekeeping, cover crops, or agriculture in general. MUST BE 10 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE

Using real sterling silver, tiny saws, hammers, and fire, you'll create your very own ring. I'll teach you how to measure, cut, solder, bend, file, and polish your custom creation. You can also texturize or letter stamp it to make it truly one of a kind. You'll leave wearing your new ring with a sense of great accomplishment and the perfect souvenir. Other things to note: This experience runs between 2.5-3.5 hours long depending on your design choices and work ethic. Average class time is 3 hours. Safety is important in the studio! Please wear closed-toed shoes and avoid wearing long or flowing clothing. Bring eyeglasses if you need them.

The experience is a 16 course gelato tasting with a visit to the gelato lab where all the creative flavours are tested & produced. During the tour I will explain the differences between Icecream & gelato , the science behind gelato, production of gelato and the history behind the company. My unique back ground of being a chemical engineer and a chef will give you a unique perspective of the art of gelato. We have flavours that are seasonal and creative. Flavours such as smoked chocolate and bourbon, cheeseboard, Thai ice tea, pistachio baklava, coconut lemon cream Pai, peanut butter and croissants etc… are among many you may taste.. we are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Every menu is created the morning of the dining experience. Moreover for the curious of hearts, I would be cooking and baking dishes, giving you a true peek into the world of fine dining in top kitchens. All this is in a day/evening's worth of time spent leisurely drinking and eating delicious meal in great company and hopefully the best story to tell in the forseeable future. To many, the world of Hasidic Jews is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience, you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals, and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community and being able to access places seemingly closed off and hidden to the outsider. An opportunity to be able to ask any questions about the Jewish faith, culture, and philosophy. We kick off the experience inside a Hasidic home, and learning about what it takes to keep a Kosher home. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. After our introduction you will be given a brief history on the founding of Sankofa Farms. Once completed you will be fitted for a beekeeping suit and introduced to all of the equipment you will need to start you own hive! Once the review is complete we will travel to our apiary on site and you will be given a hands on experience in our hives. This session will comprise of how to inspect a beehive, how to properly use beekeeping equipment , and how to spot your queen Bee! Other things to note Once you arrive to our location you will travel down a gravel road. The Experience After being greeted on the farm, guests will be introduced to the goats while they are still in a fenced pasture. Once the goats are released, we will follow them in their meanderings while gently leading them to where we want to go (open meadows, woodlands, pond) depending on weather conditions and the state of the terrain. As we shepherd the goats, we will observe what they are choosing to eat and how they are interacting with each other. Guests will learn to listen to their bells to locate them and to call them. Moments of blissful silence will alternate with passionate conversation about what it takes to grow healthy food. The walk can take up to 2 hours depending on the weather and everybody's disposition. You will be participating in the goats' meal plan, so we will set out on time, at 10am. The goats are hungry in the morning! Pets and Children Unfortunately, pets are not welcome due to the high level of interaction with the goats. This experience is best suited for children ages 10+. What to Bring Please cover your ankles, legs, and arms for protection against brambles, burrs, and bugs. Hiking shoes or boots are best, they are sturdy and will provide good support for the walk. I always encourage bringing a water bottle and a seasonal hat. Other things to note The goats travel across all sorts of terrain: up and downhill, through marshes and creeks, in open fields and shady woodlands. The walkabout is at a relaxed pace and will cover around a mile.

This unique three-part, 3 hours walking tour will begin where Manhattan began - at the National Museum of the American Indian. Each part of the tour will last approximately 1 hour. This first leg of the tour will start in Lower Manhattan. Specifically, Bowling Green, where the first enslaved Africans started building the infrastructure of the city, and end at Wall St. where the enslaved Africans were brought and sold. The second leg of the tour will start in the Financial District. We will walk up Wall St to Federal Hall - a site next to a famous free African who owned and operated a famous Oyster House in 1825. The last leg will start around the Brooklyn Bridge, including the African Burial Ground National Monument plaza. This tour is great for groups, team-building, and field trips, and it's especially beneficial for school-age children. Depending on the mood and convenience of the group, we can stop for snacks at any time. Each location is based on a specific chapter in my book. There will be several restroom breaks. Please note that finding parking is extremely difficult in Lower Manhattan. Indoor garages will cost between $35-40. I advise using public transportation or car service.

Join us for a 2-hour coastal tour through Tanner's Pass and Lunenburg's back passage — a pristine part of the Atlantic Ocean. Our tour is in a professional, 19-foot Zodiac MilPro HD. These popular vessels are the black, inflatable boats you find on expedition ships around the world. They're also the boats we operate as photographers and guides in Antarctica and the Canadian sub-arctic. So what will we see? It is common to see numerous seals, osprey, great blue herons, various sea birds, mink, and deer as we Explore the South Shore. We’ll also talk about flora and geology as we cruise the area. It truly is one of the prettiest parts of Nova Scotia! There are two things we cannot control; wildlife and weather. That said, we keep a close eye on marine weather forecasts and if we have any safety concerns, we will reach out asap. We operate rain or shine so please be prepared to get at least a little wet. Welcome to our Alpaca Farm! Upon arrival, you will be met by some of our Alpacas. Though they may be some distance away grazing in their rolling mountain pasture or relaxing in one of the barns, they will certainly acknowledge your presence with a curious stare. We start your experience with a short walk to a nearby pasture to observe and learn about the alpacas and our farms story. Standing by the fence, we will introduce you to the alpacas, discuss farm safety and answer any questions. Usually the alpacas are interested in what we are talking about and will generally come up to join in the conversation. As your experience winds down we invite you to the “Farm Store” for all things alpaca. In the store, we explain how their fiber is converted from raw fiber to luxurious clothing. At the conclusion of your experience we invite you to bring a picnic and dine along the banks of Cove Creek while you take in the beautiful mountain vistas.

Please take time to read thru all details before booking. We will meet at front of farm house. We will start at the top of the field walking around our pastures, checking our fences along way enjoying the peacefulness that nature brings and heading into the forest and around the pastures up hills and forest where our highland cows reside. Sharing with you about out breed of cows and what they are known for. We will explore how they interact with each of us their mannerisms and irresistible cuteness. While circling the pastures we have other animals you may interact with that include 5 Scottish highland cows and their calves who were born during the year, our goats and our sweet rescue horse Eli &livestock guardian dogs. We will end our visit at the west pasture sharing treats with the animals and brushing the cows. Other things to note please Wear good closed toe tennis shoes for hike and clothes you may not mind getting dirty, to interact with animals. Hiking stick, jacket if cold, bottle of water. May not be a good fit- Disability or limitation of doing a moderate hike. Families with children 6 or younger message us privately to book we have a tour made specifically for little ones. No dogs please as not all dogs like cows. Weather back up plan-don’t worry we will see cows.. but will replace hike with the historic farmhouse tour listed under our experiences.

Looking for a fun outdoor activity for the family? Need to de-stress from the craziness of life? Cuddling with animals offers the opportunity to relax your mind and let go of the stress and anxiety for brief period. Not to mention, it's just FUN! During your visit, you will have one hour to cuddle and pet the animals on our micro-farm. Being that this is an outdoor experience, we are really not set up to do cuddle sessions during inclement weather. If we are expecting bad weather for your booked hour, I'm happy to work with you on re-scheduling for a nicer day or time. We currently have lots of Nigerian Dwarf goats of varying ages, a 2.5 year-old miniature Zebu named Molly, a rescue steer named Ferdinand, and two pigs named Charlie and Ellie. We also have numerous chickens, as well as our Holland Lop bunnies Oliver and Willow. ** For the health and safety of both our animals and yours, we do not allow outside animals to visit the farm. ** **We do not have a public bathroom on-site, since this is our home. We will begin the tour by giving loads of information about goat care and dairy farming. Guests will have the option to play and interact with goats. You’ll definitely want to wear shoes that can stand getting dirty for this part. We will finish the tour with an elaborate tasting of the 10 fresh cheese varieties we make weekly on the farm. We conduct our tours rain or shine. We have spare umbrellas if needed.

Available to ALL ages and experiences levels! *260lbs weight limit Prior to your arrival, Nicole will message you and determine what level of experience you have with riding horses. Once you arrive on our property, Nicole and/or Jeff will greet you and already have your horses ready and matched to your level of experience. You will then be led to our riding ring where you will have the opportunity to learn about general horse care and safety. In the riding ring, you will have the opportunity to mount your horse and learn how to steer and control your horse and become comfortable before embarking on the trail ride. Once you are comfortable, you will be guided on a private tour of our 52 acre estate where you will go through woods, open fields, across ridge lines and enjoy being on a horse with breathtaking mountain views. On the ride we will also snap a few complimentary pictures for you to share with friends and family or add to your social media. At the end of your ride, we will help you dismount and you will have the opportunity to love on your horse and snap a few extra last minute selfies.

Welcome to the Detroit Black Statue Tour! We're excited to have you join us on this journey celebrating the rich history and contributions of Black individuals in Detroit and around the world. If you have any questions or need assistance during the tour, feel free to ask your guide or any staff member. Let's explore and learn together!

Your guide will lead you across the intracoastal waterway and through a complex myriad of subtidal and intertidal areas along the sound side of the island and point out some amazing estuarine species. We may find Green or Loggerhead sea turtle nests on the beach after landing on the island and carefully walking through dune and foredune habitat to the beach. Your guide will identify species of concern, possibly including the American Oystercatcher, Black Skimmer and Wilson’s Plover. Bottlenose dolphins are often spotted on both the sound side and ocean side of Masonboro Island. This 3.5-hour adventure includes 4 miles of paddling and about 1.5 hours of island exploration (swimming in the surf, hunting for shells and sharks teeth or just beaching it) away from your kayak.

You will be welcomed and offered a nice cup of herbal fresh dripped tea of your choice. We will have you in a relaxing atmosphere. You will learn the history of essential herbal oils with include herbs, flowers and extracts. You will learn Notes of fragrance blending and how to add them all together. You will create your own natural perfume roll on and also solid perfume. You will leave with 2 perfumes x 1 roll on and 1 solid.

On this walk we will abserve Wildflowers of the Catskills. Trout Lily, Trilium and Spring Beauties. We will pass thru Dibbles Quarry and end at the Beaver Pond taking in the view of Pecoy Notch. We then will retrace our steps back to the car.
