The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. We welcome you to our home. In the heart of the Peak District! Perfectly located for visiting Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bakewell & Sheffield. Comfortably sleeping four in two double rooms with a hidden single bed under the stairs ideal for someone who doesn’t mind a little less privacy. A spacious living and dining area with doors opening out onto a patio with a Hot Tub for four people that can be hired as an add on. The house has comfy beds, boho decor & is really warm and cosy!

Bridgefoot Cottage - Wild Swimming & Hot Tub

Bridgefoot is a beautiful 17th century cottage situated in the Peak District. Guests have full use of the property including a modern, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. There is also an exceptionally comfy and cosy sitting room, equipped with 2 sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed) a log burner and a Smart TV. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

A private, self-contained, en-suite annex, next to the River Wye, in a tranquil setting. Direct access to covered decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car strongly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

This isn’t a place for late nights or busy schedules. It suits couples (we are for grownups only)) who enjoy simple days, a good walk, somewhere interesting to visit, and time to properly switch off. The Barn sits slightly apart, reached by a short 5 minute walk from your car, that leaves the everyday behind. It feels more tucked away, more removed. You arrive, settle in, and the pace shifts almost immediately. From there, the days unfold simply, out, back, rest, repeat.

This lovely cottage is within a minute walk of Bakewell town centre, ideal for exploring the Peak District countryside whilst benefitting from nearby shops and restaurants. Nestled within the Hope Valley, Hathersage offers exceptional walks from the front door ranging from circular 3 mile strolls to all-day hikes. Rokeby Cottage is a 5 minute walk from the village centre which hosts a great range of excellent pubs, cafes and shops.
