Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. A house on the estuary of a VERY BIG river ie - Lower Breede river - about 15km from the sea, the house is set back about about 15m from the river . It is completely off the grid , ie only solar power and rainwater. It might not suit city dwellers who need every gadget and convenience but its heaven for the hardier ones Please bring bedding and towels . The are pillows and various duvet inners but we don't have a washing machine so we cannot supply linen
