If you're looking for marble countertops, this may not be your place. But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions.

If you are looking to experience lake life, look no further! Our Guest House sits on the beautiful 140 acre Bullock Pen Lake. It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! You'll enjoy access through the back gate to the local park with a walking path around the lake, perfect for evening strolls!

If you're looking for peaceful family fun, close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, you just found it! 15 minutes to the Ark and 50 minutes to the Creation Museum. 80 acres of fun for the whole family! This home boasts a pool (open during warm months), patio, large deck, grill, and covered front porch with beautiful views of the sunset! Don't want to swim? There are plenty of other options! Hike on our nature trails, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time by the creek!

The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.

Grammer's Place is a tiny house that sits very close to my personal home, but you will have access to as much privacy as needed. Along with this, guests will still have access to their own parking spaces. And just a few steps from the drive, up the ramp and on the porch.
