This quaint, early 1900's farm house sits among shady trees and overlooks a beautiful pasture and garden. Rock on the porch or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. The parking and turn around are big enough to accommodate a trailer. It's convenient to horse trails, hiking, kayaking, and biking on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. Big South Fork National Recreation Area, Pickett State Park, Historic Rugby, Muddy Pond, and Sgt. Alvin C. York's Museum and Burial Place are all within 30 minutes.

The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

We welcome you to our country cabin, a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or quiet corner all to yourself. Enjoy the clean, country air and starry night skies away from city lights; on a quiet, low traffic road facing woods and farmland with field, pond, and forest behind. We are just across the field from a working dairy farm and less than a mile from the dairy farm store and creamery where you can find fresh meat, eggs, milk, and some of the country’s best hand-dipped ice cream!

Welcome to the mountain! It's been in the family for five generations and is a relaxing, private getaway seven miles from town or short drive to many natural areas. The home is set at the edge of the woods with great porch sittin' and a large front yard and fishing pond. Enjoy sitting around a campfire or snuggle up by a the cozy wood burning stove.
