The Ashdale Bee is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area of Battlesbridge, a picturesque village in the Crouch Valley. Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.

'The Little House' - in the centre of Stock

'The Little House' ( my grandson's name for it it) is a hidden gem, tucked away in the centre of the lovely village of Stock. It is a detached, converted small barn with its own entrance, key box and allocated parking space in front. Check-in is from 4pm. Check-out is by 10.00am. Early check in available for supplement as is check out. The Secret Hideaway is a self contained living space. Make use of the cooker to prepare a meal or relax watching your latest TV series. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.
