Welcome to our Main Stay! Come rest and explore atop the Bluff and the Bog in wonderful Pepin, WI. Enjoy this private getaway near Lake Pepin with trails along the slough and through the forest. Only 3 miles from Downtown Pepin and a short drive from places like Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Wabasha, Lake City and Red Wing, MN. Year round this space offers a peaceful escape to get out into nature along the Great River Road for your family and friends to enjoy and relax in one of natures preserves.

Writer's cabin at Crazy Rooster Farm

Rustic cabin in WI Driftless region. Unique rustic cordwood oasis. A perfect getaway for a writer, artist, musician, or peace and quiet. You'll have 2 small cordwood cabins all to yourself. One is a writer's retreat with a queen futon bed, large desk, and ergonomic Aeron chair. The other is a cold shower/kitchen. There's a portable toilet. It's comfortable enough to be productive– rustic to create a unique, camp-like experience. The kitchen has a small fridge, a hot plate & toaster oven.

Looking for a getaway? Come to the Creekside cabin just outside city limits to test out "Tiny House Living"! All the amenities of home only smaller. This is a great place! Sit by the creek and listen to the water run or cozy up to the "Tiny" wood burning fireplace to get away from it all. Situated right on the Minnesota State Snowmobile trails. Trails also great for walking/4 wheeling/biking. Please note: you are not by yourself. We live on the property Pets not allowed.

French Island Lakefront Cottage

Our open-concept Lakefront Cottage has everything you need for a tranquil stay, including access to Lake Onalaska and the use of our two-person canoe. The highlight is the large outside deck with an expansive view of the lake. There’s a fan above the deck to keep you cool and bug-free while dining at the table or relaxing on our comfortable chairs or swinging bench. Please read the "Other details to note" section. This cabin sits overlooking a beautiful view of the water where you will see all types of wildlife. The eagles sit in the giant oak trees just off the porch. Walk down to the dock and drop a line in for fishing. .The state bike/snowmobile/hiking trail is within 3 minutes. The boat landing is 1 mile away. You have your own private dock. We also just added a hatchet throwing target We charge a 25.00 per visit pet fee.
