Our property on Little Gillett Lake is a special place. The cottage is new, but exudes the charm and character of classic Northwoods Americana. The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Sasquatch Hideaway A-Frame |Sauna| Lake-ATV Access

Tucked away in the woods, and steps away from the national forest, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch hideaway offers you direct access to the ATV trail, a 600ft walk to the crystal clear waters of Paya lake. New for 2025 is a Wood fired barrel sauna for to decompress. The main offers a queen sized bed and the guest room offers a Full/Twin Loft bed, as well as a twin Murphy bed. There is also a massive sectional couch as a sleeping option.

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. You have the entire floor to yourself, as we live upstairs. House is located in a quiet country subdivision. Deer, birds and other wildlife are daily visitors. Easy drive to Lambeau Field, the airport, and downtown Green Bay!

Enjoy some time away in the north woods! Cozy cottage on Chute Pond to enjoy some swimming and water fun! ATV/snowmobile trails right out driveway. Pontoon available for rent with cabin. (Separate Contract) Cornhole boards, fishing rods, paddle boat, 2- kayaks, 2 adult size bikes. Fire pit is available, NO wood provided. Take a walk down to Slippery Rock! Then walk through the park a little further for some rock jumping! Our family enjoys Chute Pond and everything it has to offer.

Our Cottage atop of Big Gillette Lake(a quaint no gas motor lake) offers a unique Northwoods experience. Nestled on a dead end road in the middle of the 1.5 million acre Nicolet National Forest, enjoy panoramic views of the lake. Soak in the relaxing hot tub King/Queens chair with a birds eye view of the lake! Winter season is upon us! Watch the snow fall from the hot tub! Then enjoy the fireplace inside. We are on a ATV/Snowmobile route. 1 mile away from being on the trail!!

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

We are close to numerous State & County Parks, Boat launches, ATV/Snowmobile trails & more! The fire pit provides endless entertainment.
