Kingfisher enjoys a riverside setting located directly on the Coleridge Way, nestled in a valley between The Quantocks AONB and Exmoor National Park, Kingfishers & Otters reside on the river. Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
