Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

Our Treetops cabin is centrally heated, en-suite with a stunning outdoor space and fire pit, views through the trees, and sounds of nature all around. Treetops is one of three cabins set in 4 acres of woodland. Individually designed and centrally heated, Treetops has a double bed, a shower room, a kitchenette and a dining/seating area. We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, microwave kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a two gas rings on the porch.

Cafes, restaurants and bakery all within 2 minutes walk. Situated off the cobbled Church Street. up a quiet yard. The cottage is peaceful and quiet. Stable door opens into the garden. First floor is a light airy double bedroom, bathroom. Second floor is twin bedroom and snug with views. Steps up to the cottage.
