Escape to peaceful small-town living in this cozy two-bedroom bungalow, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. Stay in and relax on the sun porch, or spend the day exploring Turkey Run State Park with our guest park pass. Enjoy farm fresh eggs and locally roasted coffee for breakfast. Pet friendly. Garage parking. Other amenities include pull-out sofa, washer and dryer, desk with printer, Roku TV, board games, spacious yard with tire swing, and charcoal grill. Let us be your home away from home.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

Red House Guesthouse

Relaxing guesthouse in peaceful country setting with local deer herd visiting frequently. Close to Shades and Turkey Run State Park and Wabash College. Great location for Covered Bridge Festival, and wedding venues. We live on site with our 2 chocolate Labradors. The guesthouse has a private entrance and private outdoor deck facing the woods. Entire living space is handicapped accessible including large bathroom with walk in shower. Cleaning is in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The Narrows Cabins #2960 - The Nest

The Nest is a charming, fully renovated studio. Inside, 3 adults can sleep comfortably on a queen bed and futon couch, full bathroom and small kitchenette. The Narrows covered bridge & Turkey Run State Park border the property to the west. Firepit and charcoal grill outside. Firewood is provided for guests and is located in the black shed near the cabins. You may use our wagons to haul the firewood back to your cabin. Please take only what you need. Free will donation accepted.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, AC, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

The Cozy Canary

The Cozy Canary is the perfect getaway, located in Parke County “Covered Bridge Capital of the World”. Just a 3-min walk to Raccoon Lake. 1st floor features 1 bdrm, full bath, living rm, game area & outdoor deck. Lower-level features 1 bdrm w/full bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, add’l queen bed w/privacy curtain, screened in porch, outdoor fire pit. Hideaway Hollow

This is a fully furnished picturesque Amish-built cabin in beautiful and secluded Parke County, Indiana. The cabin comes complete with all amenities including full bath with shower, queen bed, A/C, dish TV, wifi internet and full kitchen. There is a large deck attached with a beautiful view of the swinging bridge and the woods. Cook out on the deck's gas grill and enjoy cool evenings by the fire pit (wood provided). Enjoy a nap in the shade in the hammock.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

Cozy Farmhouse on 10 acres across from State Park

Gorgeous location with picturesque scenery! The property is surrounded by Shades State park and trail 10 picks up off the driveway. The area is also known as the covered bridge capital of the US with 33 covered bridges, within a 20 minute drive. This home has been fully remodeled with two new baths, a master suite, a large screened porch and an new kitchen, all on 10 acres. There is an outdoor fire pit and walking trails to meander through.
