For nature lovers & romantics, our boutique country retreat is a perfect escape near Mt Cook & Tekapo. The stylish cottage is set on a secluded 10-acre property with incredible mountain views and big skies. Just 17km from the town of Twizel, it offers both privacy and modern comforts. Spend your day exploring Tekapo or Mt Cook, then relax in a private wood-fired hot tub under the stars of the dark sky reserve. A peaceful spot to recharge, just 50 mins to Mt Cook/Tekapo, or 2.5 hrs to Queenstown.

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

D6 is a self-contained unit in the Wataki Lakes Apartments on the Alps to Ocean cycle trail, in the middle of the Waitaki Whitestone UNESCO Global Geopark & abutting the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. Views of Mt Totara. Over the golf course is Lake Aviemore, popular for boating, with many walks nearby. Hot dry summers, crisp sunny autumn & spring, cold snowy winters. Otematata's population is 200, swelling to 5000 in summer. It is on the road between Oamaru & Omarama.

Finished to a high standard and located on the outskirts of Twizel, Tussock Fields, offers everything you could desire for your stay in the Mackenzie, space for family and friends, total modern comfort, off street parking for all your vehicles and free wifi. Please note; property it is not fully fenced, outdoor bath not available May to September.

Take a 3 minute walk to the wonderful shops and cafes on the Fairlie's Main Street and the famous Fairlie Bakehouse.

Home Away from Home-Unit A5 Waitaki Lakes Aprtmnts

Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade. Please note that I am not on site but please message anytime if you have any queries or need anything. This is our holiday home so please be mindful of this.

Wander Lodge - Cosy cottage in the forest.

Cosy cottage set in two hectares of forest. Log burner, outdoor pizza oven, well equipped kitchen, beautiful surroundings. Build huts, lay in the hammock or relax under the stars in the outdoor bath. Fully fenced so safe for kids to play & explore. Great for the snow in winter and lakes in summer. 30min to Dobson ski area, 45min to Fox Peak, 50 min to Roundhill. Lake Opuha 10 min. Take a day trip to Lake Tekapo (25min) to enjoy Tekapo Springs and Mt John Observatory.

Everyone is welcome here at Forest Bliss Cottage located 300m up on the Hunters Hills. We have long views east to , the sea at St Andrews to Timaru, to the Port Hills, Four Peaks, Fox Peak . Forest Bliss is a sustainable exotic forest surrounded by pasture lands. We hope that staying in our quiet, sunny cottage you can have time to relax/rejuvenate yourself on your journey enjoying fresh country air, peaceful walks and bird watching. We hope to see you soon!

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Buckley’s Retreat

We offer this unique tiny home with fantastic Ocean views. You can wake to the sunrise and watch the sunset at night all from your bed. We offer continental breakfast. Which includes eggs if the hens are laying. Outdoor spa, Complementary snacks and beverages. You may also bring your dog. 5mins drive to the centre of town. But have restaurants and grocery shops near by. Off street parking also. Just on the town boundary with a rural feel.

Sunshine studio

This studio is set in a beautiful rural setting just a couple of mins from CBD. It has a fully made comfy king bed & a pull out double bed from the sofa if needed. Linen included. Tea & coffee facilities in a small kitchenette, kitchen sink & bbq area outside, as well as a flat screen TV, DVD player, Freeview & washing machine. There are many animals, including goats, chickens, cows, pigs, rabbits, alpacas, ducks & birds to enjoy

Hallewell Haven is a little spot of tranquility, cosy and warm. Our self-contained studio is just a minutes walk to the picturesque Market Square with Cafes, Restaurants and Supermarkets. Whether you are fishing, cycling, tramping, enjoying the lakes in the summer, skiing in the winter or just taking in the scenery we want to make your stay a memorable one. Everything is at your fingertips in this fully self contained unit.
