A complete makeover turns the Old Kensington Store into a great place to come to after a busy day or for a romantic getaway. Our whimsical cottage is perched near the top of the tranquil Waitawheta Valley at the gateway into the Northern Kaimai Ranges. Enjoy river swimming and hiking right from the property or just relax on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the valley. 5 minute drive to the Hauraki Rail Trail and the award-winning Falls Retreat restaurant. 10 minutes drive into the heart of the Karangahake Gorge and Waihi and 15 minutes through to Paeroa or out to Waihi Beach.

Three room sleepout with kitchenette, and bathroom with a washing machine. Light and breezy with air conditioning. Situated on quiet cul de sac a few minutes drive to the town or to the beautiful Whangamata beach. A short walk past the RSA and Whangamata Club can take you into town to the shops and restaurants Off road parking available and the property is fully fenced and pet friendly. There is a good sized grass area which is a shared area.

Homewood Cottage

Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist. Guests can enjoy the private lawn and garden around the cottage, and wander down the hedgerow to the pond overlooking the Tauranga harbour.

Kipling Cottage

Location, location, location! A hop, skip and jump to Waihi Beach's famous 'Flat White Cafe' and stunning 10km ocean beach. Not so glam on the outside (but we are working on that) but inside it's a little winner - almost brand new with all the comforts in a home away from home. Short walk to the shops, hotel and RSA....but so close to the beach! BBQ available plus all other amenities to make for a relaxing stay!

Avocado Cottage. Katikati.

Private, self-contained, cosy modern cottage on semi-rural orchard location adjacent to Katikati township. Panoramic views with small deck, BBQ & swimming pool available. Very comfortable queen sized bed & portacot on request. Sofa bed available for extra guests. Ample parking for motorhome or caravan. Breakfast food provided for the first morning of stay. Pets not allowed.
