Í nágrenninu er að finna ýmis náttúruverndarsvæði þar sem hægt er að fara í fallegar gönguferðir eða dásamlegar hjólaferðir. Ef veðrið er í uppnámi finnur þú fjölda lestrarbóka, leikja eða þrauta í bústaðnum.

Hellevoetsluis : Falleg borg með nokkrum sögulegum kennileitum. Eins og Droogdok, Fire Museum, Historyland og 17 century Bunkers. Þær voru endurgerðar árið 2015 og breytt í fallegt göngusvæði. Frístundasvæði okkar eru Haringvliet, Norðursjór. Það er opin og yfirbyggð verslunarmiðstöð. Og yfirbyggð sundlaug í nágrenninu. Í gamla hlutanum eru góðir veitingastaðir og verandir.
