Bush getaway in the Bega Valley

The Australian Bracken Fern (Pteridium esculentum), an edible bush food endemic to Australia and New Zealand, lends Bracken Cottage its name. Bracken Cottage is a two-bedroom mud-brick cottage on Rock Lily's 100-acre bush block. Views are to the north and NW over the eucalypt forest that covers most of the property. It is suitable for a family or group wanting a base for rural adventure or a spot to gather and escape the city on a sustainably-managed property and has a dog-friendly fenced yard.

Birdsong Cottage, Bermagui. The peace of the bush.

Birdsong Cottage is located on a hectare of bushland on the outskirts of Bermagui. With two bedrooms and a large, open plan living area, deck, courtyard and well equiped kitchen, it makes an ideal getaway for up to two couples. Sorry, no kids. Many King Parrots and Lorikeets come to feed, and in the evenings, Wallabies and Kangaroos can be viewed feeding just below the house. Goannas, Echidnas, Possums and Lyrebirds are also regular visitors to the property. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Note: Pets should not be left unattended inside. The Cottage has a fully equiped kitchen with large Fridge, Electric Oven, Microwave and Coffee Machine. HDTV & Wifi included. Outside, there's an undercover Gas BBQ.

We are conveniently located near Kianinny Bay. The space is perfect for couples to enjoy the Sapphire coast, beaches, national parks, mountain bike tracks, and local award winning oysters.

The Rainforest Cabin is relaxing haven nestled in nature on our farm. It is one of a pair of cabins, each private and with their own character. Your own home close to all the delights of the far south coast. The cabin has a deck overlooking the chain of ponds leading to the Lily Pond dam below. There is a private kitchenette and the shared Sunny Kitchen cabin. Its a lovely artistic space to relax and rewind and enjoy the landscaped gardens. The handmade crockery is made in my farm studio.

Find peace & tranquility in this sweet & stylish space with views of a lake, forest & farmland. Experience solitude & privacy with only a small distant cottage in sight. Swim in the river, see the stars at night, Roos at dusk & dawn and a few cows. It is off-grid with solar power and water must be carted in. For the hot days there is an air cooler ( no Aircon), it always cools down at night. No heater inside but it is never too cold in winter. Firewood provided. Cooking on bbq outside! 😊

The Cottage - Bermagui

On arrival you will be greeted with a beautiful breakfast basket. We are nestled in the bush alongside the Salty Lagoon Nature Reserve - plenty of bird life and the odd wallaby. We are close to the Bermagui River and also the beach. We are within walking distance to the shops and cafes. Our cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Due to limited parking, this space is not suitable for boats and trailers.
