Mezoneta #1 Limnioni, Farsa village

LOCATION The house is located in the village of Farsa, 10 km from Argostoli and more specifically, on the beautiful Limioni site on the outskirts of the village, sloping down towards the sea. Upon one’s arrival, the first thing that strikes one is the spectacular view. The house is situated on a hillside only 150 meters from the sea, overlooking the crystal blue waters and the gulfs of Lixouri and Argostoli. Geographically, Farsa is located strategically in the centre of the island, this being convenient for excursions to the beaches and many worthwhile attractions of the island. Thus, the visitor travels almost equal distances to all destinations:- Lixouri: 23 km / Sami: 28 km / Myrtos: 22 km / Fiskardo: 42 km / Skala: 42 km The house and its picturesque location ensure that your stay will be away from the hustle and bustle of the island’s capital yet, at the same time near enough to Argostoli and the social life of the island should you prefer. There is easy and direct access to the beach – a mere 150 meters walk to the rocky bay of Limioni and a 3-minute drive to the main beach of the village, Ligia. The “old village” of Farsa with it’s pre-seismic ruins, and breathtaking views is an outdoor history museum, being one of the better-preserved old villages on the island with a long sea-faring tradition and tales of piracy. A hike through the old village of Farsa may take two to three hours and you will get a taste of the old “pre-seismic” Kefalonia. It is said that it was here that Louis de Bernieres was inspired to write his famous novel, “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”. THE HOUSE The house is a double-storey of 80 sq.m. and has a large, 27sq.m. private patio with panoramic views of Lixouri and Argostoli and direct access to the garden. The house comprises a ground floor living room with open-plan kitchen/dining area, bathroom with shower, and closet. An internal staircase leads upstairs which consists of 2 bedrooms with double beds. Should one wish to use the two sleeper couches located in the living room, up to 6 persons can be accommodated. The house is ideal for families or groups of youths. It is fully furnished and equipped featuring: a kitchen with necessary utensils and household appliances; TV; Patio with pergola; Direct access to the garden; Air conditioning; Shared laundry facilities and Parking. THE HOSTS The hosts, my parents Dennis and Mary Papanikolatos and Dolly, a lovely and incredibly friendly dog, will be at your disposal for anything you need, always willing to help. We aim to make your stay so pleasant that you will want to return. We would like to welcome you and it will give us much pleasure to extend to you warm, genuine Greek hospitality. A special brochure, with information and suggestions for excursions, beaches and fine dining, designed and compiled by us with love and care, will be supplied to you on your arrival.

Célestine

Célestine is a traditional Kefalónian house, with unique character and a magnificent view! At the village of Makryotika, right above the town square, it offers lots of privacy and tranquility, while also being just a 5' drive away: from the lively bars, cafés and restaurants of Agia Effimia to the one side and the famous Myrtos beach with its breathtaking sunset to the other. Its central location within Kefalonia also serves as a base for daily excursions to explore the rest of the island.

Unique Cottage

Our beautiful cottage is located in the main road from Argostóli to Poros, and only 20 minutes from Argostoli, the islands capital. Some of the highlights include the lovely/large patio and garden, private parking space, wood/brick oven, barbecue, treehouse, hammock and incredible view for your ultimate relaxation. The nearest beach is Lourdas beach (6-7 minutes by car). Everyone is welcome to stay at our home and we look forward to hearing from you! :) P.S. There are cats in the garden 🐈

FOS - Ionian Breeze, house with great sea view

Set amidst a small old settlement, lies this house along with its twin FOS. Overlooking the impressive Afales Bay, the house has a relaxing feeling and a subtle elegance. During the day a refreshing breeze is flowing around, in the evenings the scent of jasmine fills the air. This top quality house is ideal for people seeking the calmness of nature and the simplicity of village life, while enjoying modern amenities. The archeological site "Homer's School" is situated nearby.

Villa Marika's Studio

A spacious lovely studio fully equipped with its own entrance, kitchen, small seating area, bathroom and storage space. It can accommodate from 1 up to 4 people. On street level but very quiet. Close to the town centre, sea front, bars & cafes. Guests under 6 years old do not pay (do not include them in the total number of guests when booking). Στου Δασκάλου -At teacher's house

To κατάλυμα αποτελείται απο δύο υπνοδωμάτια, κουζίνα-σαλόνι, μπάνιο και μπαλκόνι. Βρίσκεται μόλις 400 μέτρα απο την κεντρική πλατεία του νησιού, σε σημείο που ειναι πολύ ήσυχα και με όμορφη θέα στο φυσικό λιμάνι της Ιθάκης. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, the kitchen and livingroom, a bathroom and a balcony. It is located only 400 meters away from the main square, in a quiet place with beautiful view of the Vathy bay.

Paplearo Private House

With its own private garden, olive tree and two mulberry trees in front of the house to give you shade, every morning coffee in our Paplearo house is refreshing. Fully equipped with everything you need (wifi, air conditioning, washing machine, etc.) and only five a minutes walk from the central square of Vathy (close to supermarkets, cafes, taverns and souvenir shops), our house will offer you a worry-free stay!

Luxury Restored Stone Villa Nemus

Villa Nemus is an open plan villa with incredible rural surroundings close to beaches with sea view. Villa Nemus is a recently converted 19th century stone house on the north tip of Kefalonia near Fiscardo (4km). Inside the open plan and spacious villa, guests feel at once 'at home' with everything you might need to feel perfectly comfortable. It is an open plan space, there are no seperate bedrooms.
