Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

The Cottage at Legacy Manor is a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat, perfect for a couples or solo getaway. It features a full kitchen, comfortable living area, heated floor in the bathroom, and a king-sized bed, blending rustic charm with modern conveniences. A small outdoor space with a fire pit and charcoal grill (firewood and supplies provided) makes evenings relaxing. Located in the heart of Lancaster County, the Cottage offers easy access to local attractions while providing a unique stay.

We are located less than 12 miles from popular destinations such as Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Fulton Opera House, Downtown Lancaster, Tanger Outlets, Spooky Nook, the town of Lititz, the town of Intercourse, etc.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Carriage Shop Family Getaway

This listing on Airbnb is located in the heart of Lancaster County's Amish Country. Our spacious 6 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is surrounded by Amish farmland. The central location can't be beat: 18 min to Sight & Sound Theater, Strasburg Rail Road & Dutch Wonderland, only 10 min to the village of Bird in Hand, and 5 min to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse. We have a master bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. The house is adjacent to an Amish buggy shop - ask about a tour!
