Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Northern light paradis place with luxus sauna!

A place you can relax - be alone - chasing Aurora from outside or inside. You can hire the hot tub for NOK 4000+ and have a beautiful view! This is a unique place only 20 minutes from airport (22 km). You have everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can be up to 5 persons sleeping there. Easy to hire car and find the place. På vinteren har du perfekte forutsetnigner for å se nordlys slik du aldri har sett det før, eller gå noen av verdens fineste toppturer.

Perfekte nordlys forhold siden boligen ligger nærmest havet, med ingen andre hus eller lys som er i veien.

Her kan du nyte nydelig utsikt over fjell og hav. Du kan ligge i jacuzzien å se nordlyset danse over fjellene. Mange fine turmuligheter i nærområdet, feks. Blåisvannet og Lyngentrappa. Ett perfekt utgangspunkt for de som er interessert i toppturer i Lyngsalpene. Kun 20min til Lyngseidet med bil. Der er matbutikk og mere. Hytten har installert varmepumpe for perfekt innetemperatur. Her er også bra med parkeringsplass både sommer som vinter, samt el bil lader.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
