Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

Spitia Katoi

Our traditional stone houses Spitia are located at the settlement of Tsaliana, 5km from Paleochora. Katoi, the lower house, features one bedroom and can host 4 guests in total. It is equippped with Starlink satellite internet. Spitia form an inspirational environment for the setting of a magical holiday, ideal to bond with your loved ones, spend time together and enjoy some stress free time. Wake up to pure silence, take a deep breath of fresh air and feel yourself becoming one with nature!

Renovated old stonehouse (built 1800) consisting of two (loft type) rooms and a in a separate building a fully equipped kitchen (entrance from shaded yard -look at the photos). Can sleep up to 4 people (one double bed at bedroom and 2 sofas at main room). Shaded yard with beautiful external views . Tzitzifes is a small village located at the foot of a mountain ,way off the tourist paths. Use of car necessary.Parking area 30m from home. Closest beach Georgioupolis and Kavros 18 min drive.
