We love Margate and we think our cottages are the perfect base to make the most of all that this amazing town has to give! Cottage no 14 is located right in the heart of Margate's Old Town. It is one of two cottages that we offer, both of which are tucked away in a private gated courtyard on Love Lane. The cottages are literally yards from the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars that the Old Town has to offer and are a stone's throw from the beautiful harbour and beach. And we have parking!

A large terraced house on a quiet green square, perfectly located 5 mins walk away from the beach and all Margate attractions. Prized by its guests for its comfortable beds, beautiful design, decor and plants, and excellent hosting. Built in 1835 on Hawley Square, the finest Georgian garden square in town, once the summer home to London's gentry, the house has been fully refurbished with a specialist 'light touch' conservation approach by its owner and inhabitant, architect Sam Causer.

We call it SeaSeat because it’s hard to drag yourself away from watching the sea in the daytime or marvelling at the sunsets at dusk. It is my home and I rent it out when I am away so others can enjoy the delightful calm of the views and the charms of Margate.
