High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. Dassieshoek - Ou Skool

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Situated on a working fruit and wine farm beneath the beautiful Stettyn Mountains, Kliprivier Cottage offers vineyard views and a peaceful farm atmosphere. We’re conveniently located just across the road from the Stettyn Family Vineyards tasting room, where you can enjoy award-winning wines and cheese platters. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the MTB and running trails, as well as our tranquil dam, ideal for bass fishing or birding.

Vleidam in Koringberg is the peaceful getaway you've been searching for. With panoramic views of the richly fertile farmlands, Vleidam Guest Farm is tranquil, country-living for the whole family. On arrival guests get freshly home baked bread with home made jam. There is milk and filtered water in the fridge; home made rusks in a jar and coffee, sugar and tea. These are all included in the price.
