Mellomgaard is located in a quiet area of Sør-Kvaløya. The house is of high standard, with bedrooms located separately on each side of the house. Here, you'll find a harmonious atmosphere in a rural setting, free from noise, light pollution, and traffic, while still being close to nearby prepared ski slopes, Tromsø city center, and nearby natural attractions. We have our own shoreline with sand and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Mellomgaard is about a 25-minute drive from Tromsø Airport and 35 minutes from Tromsø city center. The house is located on a farm with two other separate living units, you are our only guests. It has the highest position on the property, offering fantastic views. In the summer, a boat for fishing or day trips can be rented upon request. The nature in Northern Norway is stunning, with countless hiking trails and peaks to explore. During the dark season, you can see the Northern Lights from our backyard without light pollution from the surroundings. The area offers excellent opportunities for fantastic nature experiences, with a chance to spot eagles, reindeer, moose, and other wildlife living in the Arctic climate—sometimes right outside the door. You can also book a dog sledding trip, just a 10–15 minute drive away from 3 different companies, or enjoy a horseback ride or carriage ride! On our farm, we have two horses of the Nordlandshest/Lyngshest breed. This is one of three fully Norwegian horse breeds listed as endangered on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Our horses, Frost and Peer, are happy to welcome guests by appointment. In the area, you'll also find the popular Hella outdoor area, with old buildings, great fishing opportunities, and a café in the summer. Here, you can fish from the rocks, watch boat traffic up close, grill, or visit ancient rock carvings nearby. We’re happy to recommend great hiking destinations and experiences in the area! We can assist with directions and have created a guide that we’d love to share with you before your arrival, so you can easily navigate to activities and experiences that will make your vacation perfect!

Slapp av i nærkontakt med våre sosiale sauer og lam. Mulighet for turutstyr, ryggsekk, termos, sitteunderlag osv. Badestamp bestilles separat, NOK kr 1200,-/ 120,- Euro. Bestilling min 4 timer i forkant. Lamming fra midt i april til første uken i mai - mulighet for å se de små lammene og de stolte mødre.

Fredheim, hus ved havet i Skulsfjord/ Tromsø

Ladd batteriene på dette unike og rolige overnattingsstedet. 25 minutters kjøretur fra Tromsø, en liten bygd som heter Skulsfjord finner du dette koselige lille huset helt ved sjøen. Fantastisk utsikt og ett rolig området der man kan nyte idylliske fjell og naturomgivelser. Nordlys sesongen er fra September til April. Er det klarvær vil det danse på himmelen direkte fra stuevinduet. Mange unike turmål til fots og ved båt som verten kan informere om ved behov og har kart tilgjengelig i huset.

Liv's beach-house in Bøvær, Senja

Liv´s beach-house ligger på idylliske Bøvær med ei fantastisk sandstrand. Slapp av i rolige omgivelser med lyden fra bølgene. Huset har fiber, perfekt for hjemmekontor. Fra balkongen kan du nyte utrolige solnedganger og flammende nordlys. Langs havveien til Skaland- 4 km- står naturopplevelsene i kø - hvite sandstender - hav og fjellformasjoner. Skaland byr på kafe, flott matbutikk og en lokal pub. Merket turløype til " Husfjellet"- 650 m høy - starter v/ matbutikken. Velkommen til Bøvær.

Designer lodge with sea-side sauna and hot-tub

Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Grandma' s cozy cottage at Kraknes , Kvaløya

Koselig gammel hus - Grandmas – Oldstyre house. Kraknes på Kvaløya. 16 km fra Tromsø sentrum. Her kan du nyte flott natur både sommer og vinter. Utsikt mot magiske fjell og innseiling til Tromsø by. Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. Vi anbefaler bruk av leiebil.

Bolig ligger i naturskjønne og rolige omgivelser nord på Kvaløya, ca. 25 minutter kjøring fra Tromsø sentrum. Utleiedel består av kjøkken, stue og bad, og fire soverom på loftet. Flott utsikt over Kvalsundet fra kjøkken/stue. Populært område for å se nordlys. Nærmeste dagligvarebutikk ligger 8km unna boligen, i Kvaløyvågen. Matvarebutikken er åpen kl 10-1730 i ukedager og kl 10-15 på lørdager. Dersom man ønsker butikk med mer utvalg er nærmeste ved Kvaløysletta.

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. This is the perfect place to stay in Tromsø. Welcome!

The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.
