The Old Church, stunning historic venue

Retaining many wonderful original features and set in a semi-rural location, The Old Church features a welcoming wood burner, large bespoke wooden dining table, huge covered south facing deck with fire pit and views over open countryside. The grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and attractions only a short drive. With two private one bedroom lodges secluded within the grounds and available for rent separately, The Old Church is ideally suited to friends and family gatherings.

The exclusive accommodation includes a large main Sitting Room and snug seating by the stove in the Hall, sleeping 12 people there are 3 bedrooms on the Ground Floor (3 bathrooms, 1 Ensuite) 3 bedrooms on the First Floor (3 Bathrooms, 2 Ensuite). All bathrooms have separate shower cubicles. 2 bathrooms on ground floor are shower rooms. The courtyard has been developed into an Events/Games Room.

Inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming. Unwind by the fire after a day by the sea, or on the golf course. A master bedroom with superking bed, and spacious twin room. It is located in the historic market town of Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. The town was granted a Royal Charter in 1450 and is located on the edge of the strath of the Avon Water. It's around 18 miles from Glasgow and on the A71, which connects to Edinburgh.
