Welcome to The River House. Nestled along the Sturgeon River close to the heart of Indian River. This custom designed house features an open studio floor plan, with a queen bed and fold out sofa available. There is a full gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops and a view of the river while cooking. Enjoy your time outside on the deck overlooking the river. In the summer months tubers and kayakers float down the river past the house regularly. Downtown Indian River is just a short distance.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with updated kitchen and bathrooms is easy access from I-75 and walking distance to the public swimming beach, Bar and Grill, Topinabee Market, the public boat launch, and North Central Bike and Snowmobile Trail. Enjoy beautiful lake front northern MI, close to many "Tip of the Mitt" towns, trails, activities while enjoying beautiful Burt Lake, including our sunsets. Our guest house is on the second floor of our detached garage. It is at the end of a quiet road and is located off I-75 (exit 310 and 313), 3 miles from town, but 30-40 minutes from many other towns. Kayaks, small grill, camp fires on windless nights. No pets. Close launches for boat launching. Space to park boat/trailer on land.

The Inland Waterway boat launch is within 1 mile, ORV trails are out your back door and walking/biking trails are within minutes. Public beach is within a 5 minute drive. This home provides great indoor space with all the kitchen amenities you might need. Outside space includes a patio with built in fire pit, a Blackstone and electric grill/smoker. A restaurant/bar is within walking distance. 4 kayaks are available for your use, launch located at end of the road - bring life jackets!

Nestled in the little town of Topinabee, you'll be in between two of Michigan’s most beautiful lakes. Bring your boat & explore the Inland Water Way. Mackinaw City is a short drive away & a visit to the island is a must. If you prefer dry ground, explore the vast trail system or the area golf courses. A perfect location to enjoy all seasons.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. A boat dock is available for docking your boat in the canal of the Indian River allowing you to cruise the River and reach Mullett or Burt lakes within minutes. This location is a beautiful, private setting with tons of outdoor living space to enjoy northern Michigan. You will be within walking distance to downtown Indian River where you can enjoy shopping, dining and some night life.
