Approx. 10 miles/25 min. from University of Notre Dame & Amish country, this rural apartment is our finished basement that we reside over. With own private walk-out entrance from back of the house, unit includes 2 BR's (one very small), full bath (shower, no tub), kitchen/family room & laundry room. Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

Bring a bike- lots of country roads to explore! Like fishing? The area has a dozen small to large lakes. Let this home flex as your home base for exploring or peaceful R&R.

Peaceful lake house

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis where you will see Bold Eagles hanging out in our backyard tree. Enjoy kayaking and fishing during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. For the boating and fishing enthusiast, local boat launch just around the corner. Warsaw is 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy shopping, dining and sightseeing. For anyone seeking a larger city, Fort Wayne is a 45 minutes' drive, where you can visit the Zoo, Theatres and Botanical Conservatory.

German Haus is a private rustic cabin with Queen bed, a twin daybed, kitchenette, 2 chairs, kitchen table, and shower bathroom. It's great for the outdoor type person. Equipped with local TV channels, DVD, MW, WIFI, coffee pot, tea pot, kitchen utensils, fridge, and eating table. RATE IS $99.00 FOR 2 PEOPLE/FEES NOT INCLUDED. DOGS ALLOWED @ $25 NIGHT PER DOG. Lakefront cottage on Koontz Lake

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This one bedroom with hide a bed cottage has a beachy theme. It shares a fire pit and patio with owner. Access to pier if you bring your boat. Or you can fish or swim off the pier. Pets are allowed and it is gated. Off street parking is provided. There is a local brewery and other restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to South Bend and 20 minutes to Plymouth. We look forward to sharing our cute little cottage on the lake. Managed by Deb Minich.

Cozy Country Bear log cabin with many amenities

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Enjoy wildlife, kayaking, fishing, campfires, horses, hiking and games. We also have a sauna and a hot tub available on the premises There is Roku TV and WIFI in the cabin. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. You can also enjoy a campfire and cook over the open fire on our tripod grill. We also have 2 other cabins on our property

The Guest House in the Barn at Grand Pause Farm

The Grand Pause Farm invites you to stay at our barn, overlooking 40 acres of a stress free environment, complete with ponds, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets . You will be in the country, and our cozy, quiet cabin can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can visit local parks and shopping at area stores. Due to COVID-19 we have blocked weekdays. If you want weekdays send a request and we will let you know if they are available.

The Riverhouse

Enjoy the view of the Tippecanoe River when you stay at our Riverhouse! The backyard has access directly to the river, where you can sit around the firepit and watch the water go by as you relax with your family and friends. This house is located in the country- a few neighbors nearby, wifi is not high speed, and you may encounter some wildlife. Please be aware you are not in a big city some resources will be limited.
