Cyclists can step out of the front door onto the NCN 6 route which leads onto the cloud trail which goes all the way to Derby. Walkers will be spoilt for choice only being minutes away from the famous Bradgate Park, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold.

There is one king size bed and a double sofa bed. If you require the sofa bed for one night ONLY please supply your own bedding/towels for it. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

With a tasteful country interior and sweeping countryside views, the hut is the perfect place for a relaxed country escape. It is only a short drive to the nearest shop and local pubs providing limited inconvenience.
