The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Charming one bedroom Suffolk cottage near Pin Mill

Charlie's is a quiet popular cottage in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with lovely walks from the doorstep to the river. A comfortable stylish, home from home with spiral staircase, dedicated work space beneath, TV, WIFI, maps etc. Fully equipped modern kitchen, bright shower room & relaxing bedroom. Enclosed south facing courtyard garden. Easy to find, free parking on front drive with self check in. Two mins walk to great local pub & the village shop with fresh, daily, local produce.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Country view annex

Forget your worries in this calm space. Our annex is detached from the main house and you have the run of the whole place. Set on 1/2 acre of land in the sweet countryside of Tendring Village with lovely farmland views. There is parking on a large drive. Please enjoy our spacious green garden where our chickens roam free. There's lots of walk’s nearby, including beaches just 15-20 mins drive. There is 1 large bedroom with double bed, with 3 small folding beds available on request.

The cottage happily sleeps four but is perfect as a luxurious retreat for two. Location is amazing - Just a few minutes walk from the Market Hill, the Thoroughfare and glorious River Deben. With beach walks 20 mins away by foot and Alton Waters less than a mile away with all their water activities to Suffolk Leisure Park down the road. You will have loads to keep you busy or wind down and relax on the patio and take in the bird song. With 3 traditional country pub that serve food and the Stutton community centre that sells local produce you will be stuck for choice!

Weeley Bridge Caravan Park Weeley Clacton on Sea CO16 9DH Quiet holiday park, fishing lake, evening entertainment, outdoor swimming pool (May-September depending on weather). Passes are needed for above, see reception for prices. 2 well behaved dogs allowed £25 per stay, please add to your booking. Please bring throws and towels. Please keep on lead and clear up any mess.
