A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron. It is a good spot for Great Lakes enthusiasts, kayakers, hikers, hunters, and fishermen. Comfortable for couples, friends, girlfriend getaways, and solo travelers. Must be 21-years-of-age to stay at Two Trees. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps maximum four. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 35 stone steps - which are challenging for some. We do not accept reservations with children of any age.

Please be courteous as this is a special piece of family property. Our place is close to outdoor activities, nature, 15-minute drive to local beaches. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors, location, relaxation & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. Please take note of directions to home, sometimes GPS is incorrect. Also, special reminder of drinking water if wanted, as house has well water. We have added Wi-Fi to the house and an exterior camera.

When staying at our place you are a 7 minute drive to Tawas Point State Park, 19 minutes from Lumberman's Monument/National Forest, and 14 minutes from Red Hawk Golf Course. Also a short distance from canoeing, kayaking, bike trails & hiking. Plentiful shops restaurants and bars to enjoy. #STR-010
