This nice, comfortable and relaxing cottage is ideally located in the golden circle in the South coast of Iceland. It's a great location to see the Northern lights /Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right. The cottage is one area and has double bed (160x200cm) and a sleeping sofa. We provide linen, towels and soap etc. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have a baby crib and high chair for your children. No public transport. My beautiful cozy cottage is warm and cozy all year round and it is close to town, 5-10 walk away. There is a supermarket, coffeeshops and restaurants within a walking distance. The house has a small kitchenette downstairs with a small oven and hot plated for cooking. Upstairs bedroom is closed for the moment. We provide all the essential stuff along with coffee, tea and other essential foodstuff. The hotspring Reykjadalur where you can soak in a hot river all year round is near by.

Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.
