Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Shaws Road BnB is set in an idyllic rural setting 45 minutes from Melbourne and is a fully self-contained one-bedroom luxury apartment with a private entrance, on the first floor of the farmhouse. A hamper of breakfast items is provided together with a complimentary bottle of our estate wine. There are panoramic views of vineyards, nearby farms and the distant Kinglake Ranges. The property features a courtyard with wood fired hot tub & private access. The strawbale cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, coffee pod machine, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and a shower. Tea, coffee, towels, robes, bed linen are provided.

The Farmhouse

Located a short and scenic 1 hour drive North of Melbourne, the Farmhouse located at Glenaroua, is your rural home away from home. With 3 comfortable bedrooms that can sleep up to 6 guests and 3 bathrooms, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. We are located on a working farm with sheep and cattle. Guests can walk the property anytime, enjoying the beautiful rolling hills and creeks that run through it. We look forward to welcoming you to our rural paradise.

What was once our tiny family home now sits on a little farm for you to enjoy, looking over the orchard and forest. Your own driveway will lead you out to the little house, past our private residence and orchard. You can rest on the deck, lay on the grass or soak in the tub. With no WiFi or TV you can disconnect for a while and let the surrounds recharge you. Wander with the chickens in the orchard, take yourself out into the forest or explore the Yarra Valley.
