Serene Retreat-Summersville Lake

Our spacious home is located 1/2 from Battle Run Campground on Summersville Lake, nestled away from the road in a private wooded area. Ample parking area if you have multiple cars or are bringing your boat. We have a new fire pit and firewood is provided. In the winter, please be advised you may need 4WD vehicles to drive up the gravel driveway. If you have extras, we also own a home that sleeps 8 next door. It is located less than 1/8 of a mile of Whippoorwill Road offering hiking, rock climbing, and lake access. We offer secure boat storage so you can launch just a short 5 minutes away at Salmon Run.

It is perfectly situated, with the feeling of being in the woods while still located near all town's amenities. Summers offer close access to outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, rafting, biking and so much more. Winters are peaceful and cozy in the cabin surrounded by snowy mountains. There is ample parking for larger groups. We do have Wi-Fi and decent cell coverage!

Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!
