In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout.
