"Serendipity"- Houseboat Getaway

A "Tiny house on the water". Your home-base for exploring Delmarva! Serendipity is a vintage 36ft Holiday Mansion, nestled at Baywater Landing Marina in the stunning salt-water marshes of the Chincoteague Bay. From here, you are 35 minutes from Ocean City, MD, and 45 minutes from Chincoteague Island, VA. Serendipity remains docked, but guests have access to kayaks and paddle boards at no additional charge. Baywater Landing is secluded- some even say "boring"- but we think that's the whole point!

Quick access to area beaches, parks, ocean & rivers for water activities of all sorts and great country backroads that are cycling friendly! Unplug & relax from the hectic city life. The screened back porch offers an outdoor dining area with shaded mornings and fantastic evening sunsets. Kickback and enjoy a firepit with smores. ***UPDATED PLUMBING FIXTURES in kitchen and sink and issues resolved.

Private cottage and gardens, comfortable Queen bed, full bath and kitchenette, within walking distance to historic Snow Hill. 30 min. drive to Ocean city and Assateague Island National park. This cottage was once a old school woodworking shop which is now on display at the old iron furnace town museum nearby. This beautiful three hundred year old town sits on the beautiful Pocomoke river with canoe, kayak, and bike rentals. Museums, art galleries, speciality shops, food and entertainment.

Our cozy, rustic, beachy apartment is close to all the area has to offer! We are nestled between Snow Hill and historic Berlin off Rt 113. We are about 15 min from West Ocean City and 12 miles from Assateague. Dining, shopping, and family activites are also nearby including a public boat ramp 5 min away to launch small watercraft and a playground with pavilion across the street. We recently renovated the apartment, and the decor was chosen to make guests feel at home at the Shorehouse!
