We get our unique name because we are located near the Jimmerson Lake Dam. Nestled in Nevada Mills. THIS IS NOT A LAKESIDE PROPERTY. We do NOT have a private boat slip. However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. The Airbnb is attached to our business Anchors Aweigh Pontoon Rentals which is located on the property. We areYour space will be private and comfortable. Quiet cottage on a private lake

Relax with your whole family at this peaceful cottage on a private lake, you will enjoy listening to the birds and sipping your coffee on the deck with magnificent views and sunsets. There is plenty to do nearby as you will be 8 minutes from Angola and 20 minutes from Auburn. Take a ride on the Nickel Plate Road #765 steam train! You will love the large yard, fire pit, deck, and basketball hoop. Kayaks, paddle boat, private dock, fishing poles, and small row boat are available for you to use.

The giant screen room provides relaxing views of not only just the lake, but of the quiet wooded lot with many mature trees. Although lake access is NOT provided with this cottage, it is centrally located to many local lakes, boat ramps, beaches and more! All within a few minutes away by car or bike.

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.
