We get our unique name because we are located near the Jimmerson Lake Dam. Nestled in Nevada Mills. THIS IS NOT A LAKESIDE PROPERTY. We do NOT have a private boat slip. However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. The Airbnb is attached to our business Anchors Aweigh Pontoon Rentals which is located on the property. We areYour space will be private and comfortable. Your family will enjoy the great views, peaceful surroundings, water activities, and quietness that comes with this spacious lot and back lot placed on a dead-end street. Located on Crooked Lake, Angola, Indiana, with 75" lake front, sandy beach area, and a 30 ft dock. OPEN Year Round. Free use of Rowboat, Paddle Boat, Canoe. PEAK SEASON requires a FULL WEEK to be rented, Fri (5pm) -Fri (noon) May 31-Aug 29. Thks.

Long Lake Cottage

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Beautifully renovated lakefront cottage on the shores of Lake James with gorgeous sunset views, a sandy crystal clear swim area and dock space for your boat. Well appointed Chef’s kitchen stocked with all of your culinary needs. We offer private cooking classes and during the summer historical boat tours on Lake James. While this could just be a cozy place to crash for a night, it can also be a private cooking class followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on Lake James.
