Nestled in the small village of Dilhorne, (about 6 miles drive to Alton Towers) you'll be wowed by the panoramic, stunning views & peace & quiet here. There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food and drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. Shepherds Watch is set in a lovely part of the country, within the Peak District's National Park. There's plenty to keep you busy with the Manifold Valley just a couple of miles away. This is great for bike riding as well as walking, with Thors cave halfway down the track. Dove Dale and its famous stepping stones is only a 10 minute drive away. And for the thrill seekers Alton Towers is only a 10 minute drive. We have some lovely country pubs within a few miles of Shepherds Watch.

Beautiful private guest suite attached to the main house. This lovely property is in the heart of Staffordshire Moorlands. We live within a small estate that is surrounded by the beautiful country side that is also a part of a quaint little town of Cheadle and surrounded by other small towns consisting of boutique shops. You will be pleased to hear that we are surrounded by lots of local attractions such as, Alton towers, Churnet valley railway, Trentham gardens and lots more.

'The Owl Hoot' - with outside Bath!

This large shepherd's hut is named 'The Owl Hoot' which gives you clue who your neighbours are here! The hut sits in its own private space, with only one other (barn conversion) let on the quiet, rural grounds. A great base for Alton Towers, walking, day trips around the Derbyshire dales or Staffordshire Moorlands, cycling , paddle boarding. Please note that this shepherd’s hut has a large internal bathroom and an outside bath. (closed during cold/ frosty weather)
