The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. St Germain is perfectly located in between all the northwoods action of Minocqua, Eagle River, Saynor, Manitowish, Boulder Junction. Incredible fishing, access to miles of bike, walking , atv trails. We even have a beach with shallow sandy bottom. The cabin is set back from the lake on the property but you still have complete access to all of it.

"Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

KING'S COTTAGE

King’s Cottage is located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the perfect place for outdoor adventures any time of the year. Hikers and bikers can enjoy routes like the Bearskin Trail. Kayakers and canoers can explore nearby lakes and waterways. Guests can explore Oneida County’s vast lakes and winter enthusiasts will find easy access to great trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The cottage is located on 235 acres with two spring-fed lakes.

Jimmy’s Lakeview Vacation Cabin

Jimmys Lakeview Vacation Rental cabin is located across from Duck Lake (part of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes) and offers a great place to stay for your Eagle River vacation. Cabin is only 2 miles from downtown Eagle River and within walking distance to Sweetwater Bar and Grill and Kickback Grill. There are two public boat landings and Eagle Lake Park within 1.5 miles and is also located on the snowmobile and atv/ utv trail.

Phelps Seclusion

Private setting in the woods close to Phelps. Great for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, and snow shoeing or just hanging out with friends and family. A full bathroom with shower. 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size bunk beds sleeps 8. Pets welcome, especially hunting dogs. A circle driveway that accommodates 2 or more boat or snowmobile trailers. We even had a trucker with a 53 foot trailer park here.
