Te Waihora Lodge is a lovely farmstead accomodation, there is Toby the friendly and ever hungry KuneKune Pig, the Sheep and the Turkeys all residing on 20 arce's of Lakeside Beauty. Leeston town is only 6km away with local Pubs, Cafes, Restaurants and Markets to fulfil the needs. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven. Sitting in the Spa Pool watching the clear night sky and the thousands of Stars is always my highlight.

The nearby villages boast outlets for local arts, crafts and antiques, and a fine swimming pool for the many hot summer days.
