Het huisje staat op het erf van onze 400 jaar oude monumentale krukhuis boerderij, waar we wonen met onze schapen, kippen en hond. Het huisje beschikt over een eigen zitje buiten. Tegenover de boerderij zijn de uiterwaarden van de rivier de Lek met de vele leuke kleine strandjes. En op steenworp afstand ligt het gezellige zilverstadje Schoonhoven.
