Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

Terra Firma - 1850s Fleurieu Cottage

Take a step back in time. Built in 1850, this cottage was once occupied by the very Caffreys after whom our street is named. The cottage is structurally identical to how those European settlers would have inhabited it. The thick walls are fantastic for keeping both the summer heat and winter cold out. Workers, holiday-makers, and day-trippers have come through this place, each having left their own little mark. And hopefully, the soul of this place will make a bit of an imprint on you too.

THE STABLES - Location! 100m shops. 150m beach

We just couldn't resist this property... so quirky and full of character. So we added to our 'stable' and it has become our latest project. It reminds us of the farm, of fresh hay, horses and cattle. In fact we have decked it out with so much love...antiqued leather sofa, rustic home made tables straight from the shearing shed workshop. So much history there! Original art works by Jessie. Stone gate cottage is a 1960's built stone cottage which has been newly renovated in a neutral colour pallete to enhance the natural charm and character of the handcrafted stone work. Designed and fitted with new pieces throughout each room. Stallion Box, Bungaree Station, Clare Valley

The Stallion Box is one of several converted accommodation buildings located on Bungaree Station. Once the stallion's stable, this self contained studio cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple with a queen bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast provisions (e.g. eggs, bacon, juice, cereal) are included. Guests can explore the historic station, visit local wineries and other attractions or simply relax in front of the fire. Multiple night stays are discounted by up to 20%.
