Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchman’s Bay is right outside your window. With spectacular 180° views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mount Desert Island, this cottage is the perfect place to experience the best of coastal Maine. Located in the well-known community of Hancock Point, you’ll enjoy easy access to Acadia National Park and nearby attractions—all while soaking in a peaceful, quiet, and scenic setting. Spend your days hiking, biking, sailing, or kayaking—or simply relax and take in the ever-changing ocean views. The cottage features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, with two large sliding glass doors that look directly out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove with microwave, Keurig, double sink, and ample counter space. You’ll also find plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, and a gas grill for outdoor meals. The primary bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed, generous closet space, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes two twin beds (a daybed with a trundle), suitable for both children and adults. Linens are provided. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TVs with Blu-ray and a window A/C unit if needed. An outdoor shower with hot water has also been recently added—perfect after a day at the beach. Please note: This is a non-smoking property. Due to a rock wall with approximately a 10-foot drop, the cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children. NOTE FOR RESERVATIONS AFTER OCTOBER 10th- We have winterized the site so no water is available. The outhouse is still accessible but the shower and sink are off. Come relax on this private 5 acre waterfront escape. Our 500 foot driveway ends in a large crushed gravel parking pad which should easily accommodate any RV or trailer. Site offers splendid views of the cove which feeds into Frenchman's Bay. If you love to camp but prefer to be "away from it all", this is the perfect landing spot.

A stunning, historic cottage that has been fully renovated in 2023 to bring it up to modern times while keeping the authenticity of this beautiful spot. Private waterfront with amazing ocean views from the deck, it's a wonderful place to relax and reconnect to the natural world. We have completely re-done both the interior and the exterior, with all new beds, bedding, bathroom and wood floors. A lot of love and care has gone into the house that we hope our guests will feel when they stay!

Artsy Tiny House & Cedar Sauna

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Relax with the family at this peaceful and private cottage on the shores of Flanders Bay with views of Cadillac Mountain. Enjoy the expansive lawn and shore access for all of your favorite activities. Bring your kayaks and SUPs. You will not tire of watching the wildlife or water views from this oasis. If you can tear yourself away from the splendor outside your door, Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island and the scenic Schoodic Peninsula are just 30 minutes away.

Long Cove Hideaway

Escape the tourist madness of Bar Harbor at your own private tidal cove. Camp with the comforts of home, water, power and Wifi. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Million Dollar View Oceanfront Cottage

This cottage is located on a working, lobster fishing harbor. 2 gracious porches, one screened the other open, face Cadillac Mountain located at Acadia National Park (a 45 minute drive away). The cottage is built on a single level with two cozy living rooms and a large kitchen dining area. You will be delighted with the indoor/outdoor feel of the space. Only 6 miles away is Schoodic @ Acadia Nat'l Park where biking, hiking and quintessential Maine views abound!
