The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Orlofsskálinn okkar er afskekktur en þó ekki langt frá smábæjarklaustri. Lítill og notalegur kofi með einu svefnherbergi með hjónarúmi og svefnlofti. Kofinn er lítill og svefnloftið er ekki með fullri hæð svo að fullorðnum gæti fundist hann þröngur svo að hann gæti hentað betur fyrir 4 manna fjölskyldu. Þetta er fullkominn grunnur til að heimsækja Suðurströnd Íslands, með stuttri akstursfjarlægð til f.ex Fjarðarárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park og Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Vík is a beautiful town with old houses and a church that stands high above the town, there you may also find a good variety of restaurants.
