At just 18km from Siena, the apartment is part of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse tucked away in the scenic rolling hills of Tuscany. The uniquely positioned grounds dominate the valley, allowing for stunning views with the most enchanting sunsets, or sunrises for those early birds! The apartment allows for a relaxing and recharging break, as well as being in the perfect location to go out and explore.

A Big Dream in a Little Tower.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.

"La Lambarda" tower Suite

In Val d'Orcia there is a small medieval village called Monticchiello, surrounded by walls and protected by four towers; one of these is the "La Lambarda", which stands at the highest point of the country and enjoys a panoramic view across the valley.

La Pieve - the house next to the church

To the right of the Argenina church, after which it is named, it has the persuasive look of its 2 small arches facing west. Perhaps it was once the parish priest's house, or the one where cooking was done in the large wood-burning oven, who knows?
