The historic Walton Apts is a Registered National Landmark that was built in the 1930s by Architect Guy L. Frazer for the Nursing students at WNMU just across the street on College Avenue. Apartment 2 is a fully-furnished one bedroom, full bath, eat-in kitchen, living room and two large closet units with high-speed WiFi internet and cable on two roku-equipped TVs The heat is central via original steam radiators. The cabin lies 5 minutes from the ghost town of Pinos Altos, 15 minutes from the town of Silver City and an hour to Gila hot springs and ruins.

At the base of Boston Hill (a mile square conservation land with beautiful trails and views, we’re a short walk away from WNMU and it’s Mimbres pottery museum and saltwater pool.
