Black Sheep Barn is a luxurious two bedroom converted barn situated near Ludlow in a remote, undiscovered pocket of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Welcome to Blackberry, which sits in the grounds of Harp Farm in the South Shropshire hills, a chequerboard landscape of field and forest, with an abundance of walks on the doorstep. The historic market town of Ludlow is just a short drive away with it's mighty castle, pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. Our nearest pub is The Tally Ho, which has just been awarded Shropshire pub of the year and it's just 1 mile away, serving great beer and probably the finest food in the area.

It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. We are located in beautiful Shropshire countryside on a working farm (sheep, cattle and horses) with stunning valley view. Ewe Pod is only 2 miles away from the historic Bridgnorth, home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway. Farm has riverside walks and pas the Ewe Pod is the route 45 cycle track which takes you straight to the historic Iron Bridge and many museums just 7 miles away. We are 2 min away from Bridgnorth golf course and Boldings Corse fishing pools.

One of two Beautiful apartments ( this one is on the ground floor but is up a couple of steps so it is probably unsuitable for wheelchairs) in the historic Porch House; a 16th century grade II* listed timber framed town house in the centre of Bishops Castle, opposite a pub with lively music nights. The apartment has a super king size bed and room to take bicycles in the anteroom. Apartment 2 is under a separate listing.

Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.
