Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Amazing two-story house nestled high up in the trees. A true treehouse! This treehouse sits amongst a forest of poplar trees and feels very secluded and private. It has spectacular views of Kentucky’s rolling hills as it looks out across the valley. This treehouse was hand built and handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish, modern 3 bedroom home near Barren River Lake! One story with a large, fenced back yard complete with play set, fire pit, deck and grill. Long, 2 lane driveway to fit the whole family, a trailer and a boat. There are indoor and outdoor toys to play with, child safety locks on both external doors, outlet covers and even a built-in children’s potty seat available in the master bath. Smart TVs in every room with access to our Amazon Prime account.

Peaceful privacy on our 227 acre farm, convenient to Bowling Green, Mammoth Cave, and Barren River Lake. The 900 sq ft loft above our home’s garage has private exterior entrance to the finished modern farmhouse loft with completely separate ductwork and HVAC system. The loft features everything you need to stay at the farm and relax: high end, furnished kitchen to cook meals in & fiber optic internet to work or stream. Adirondack chairs and a propane fire pit make for wonderful stargazing.

Family farm with open space to enjoy picnics, campfires, activities and 200 acres of woods easily accessible for walks or hikes and a mini cave that children and adults can explore and a stream for fishing/wading and swimming. *For larger groups, we own another BnB, within walking distance, that sleeps 11 guests and may access to all the same activities; fire pit, farm animals and free range chickens add a rural flavor that appeals to adults and children alike. This beautiful cottage was built in 2020 with the goal of creating a "cabin getaway" from the fast pace of life. The view off the large screened in porch is considered one of the best on Barren River Lake! This home offers three spacious bedrooms and two large baths. It has beautiful white pine walls and ceilings, hardwood floors, granite kitchen counters, and a gas fireplace. There are many large windows for great views of the lake. Lakeview Cottage is family friendly!

This beautifully designed and luxurious treehouse sits on a ridge overlooking our creek. With only a 25min drive to downtown Nashville, you are tucked away amidst the towering hardwoods-away from the city noise. With careful attention to detail, the treehouse decor and design is meticulously curated to create an atmosphere of rest and beauty. This space is ideal for a couple, but can sleep four (twin beds in the loft). Parties are not permitted on the premises.
