There are also wonderfully atmospheric second hand book shops, vintage and retro clothing stores, gift shops, jewellers and of course plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars.There are a wide range of places to eat from great value budget to widely acclaimed, well established restaurants. Five of Trip Advisor’s top ten restaurants in Glasgow are all within a 15 minute walk. Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the local Grosvenor Cinema. Music and plays can also be found at Oran Mor and Cottiers theatre with various pubs hosting more informal music sessions.

The vibrancy of the students mixed with the idiosyncrasy of the more mature residents makes this one of the best neighbourhoods in Glasgow. Hillhead subway is 200m from the flat. I can arrange parking if guests have a car.
