Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Southwest Harbor Cottage

Enjoy unparalleled views of bustling Southwest Harbor and the beauty of Acadia National Park from the comfort of Eagle's Nest. Perched on a granite cliff, this thoughtfully designed little home provides for your every need. For anything else, take the ten minute stroll into the village, where you'll find plenty of local shops and restaurants. You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

A wall of windows brings in natural light, with a hot tub, smokeless fire pit, and 1.5 miles of quiet forest trails just outside. Private and woodsy, yet close to Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and the surrounding Downeast.

Upstairs apartment, interior & exterior stairs/ all private space. Open concept living room with full kitchen. Living area: sofa with ottoman, recliner, rocker, smart TV, ceiling fan & window A/C. WiFi. Bathroom: shower, vanity, flush, washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron, toiletries, towels, and blow dryer. Bedroom: One queen size platform bed, dresser, bedside tables, sound machine, closet, ceiling fan, window A/C. Bedroom door opens to a small private deck w/stairs to ground level.

A stunning, historic cottage that has been fully renovated in 2023 to bring it up to modern times while keeping the authenticity of this beautiful spot. Private waterfront with amazing ocean views from the deck, it's a wonderful place to relax and reconnect to the natural world. We have completely re-done both the interior and the exterior, with all new beds, bedding, bathroom and wood floors. A lot of love and care has gone into the house that we hope our guests will feel when they stay!

Walk right out the front door and on to the trails! The Otter Creek trail connects to Otter Cove where you can watch for seals, hunt for sea glass, enjoy a day at the beach or continue your hike up the trail to Gorham Mountain, Beehive, Sand Beach, Thunderhole and beyond!
