The cabin is 2 stories, with one bedroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom is on the main level. Four wheel drive is required. We will escort you to the cabin from Rico or Cortez. No cel service from Rico to the cabin. Starlink available at the cabin. You are welcome to bring your own four wheelers or side-by-sides.

The Bonnie Belle Cabin is a 1100 square foot, two story, 3 bedroom modern/rustic backcountry style cabin located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, 15 miles north of Silverton, Colorado on the Alpine Loop. The cabin itself sits at 12,000 feet above sea level in Picayune Gulch overlooking the Animas River headwaters and the historic ghost town of Animas Forks. Your trip to the Bonnie Belle should be looked at as an adventure, and not just a place to lay your head.

The Canyonview Motel is a cute little motel with beautiful views of Kendall Mountain and up the canyons. Each unit has a little cafe table and chairs on the porch to enjoy the views. There is a "Cantina" area where we provide propane grills a sink (in summer) and prep area for grilling out.
